XRGB vs XENO: Which Core Should You Choose?

Every BJSABER hilt can carry different electronics — the “core”. Choosing the right one is the single decision that most affects how happy you are a month after delivery.

XRGB (Baselit): the workhorse

A bright LED lives in the hilt and lights a hollow blade. It’s the most durable setup, the lightest, and runs the longest on a charge. If you plan to duel, practice forms, or hand the saber to friends without worry — start here.

XENO (Xenopixel): the showpiece

Hundreds of LEDs run the length of the blade, enabling scrolling ignition, drag effects and blade-tip melt. Sound fonts and effects are richer, and the Bluetooth app unlocks deep customization. If the saber will live on a shelf or in photos and videos, this is the one.

Ask yourself where the saber spends most of its time: in your hands moving, or on display glowing. Moving → XRGB. Glowing → XENO.
