Which blade length is right for me?

Quick answer

You do not have to choose: every BJSABER saber ships with a 36-inch (92 cm) polycarbonate blade — the screen-standard length that works for most adults and teens, for both display and dueling. The blade is removable, so it can be replaced or swapped later.

The blade you get

  • Length — 36″ (92 cm), the classic full-size proportion.
  • Diameter — 1 inch (25.4 mm), the industry standard.
  • Wall — 2 mm reinforced polycarbonate, built for dueling.
  • Mounting — secured by retention screws, removable with the included hex key.

Will 36 inches be too long for me?

For most people, no. You grip the hilt, not the blade — a longer blade changes reach and presence, not how the saber fits your hand. If you are buying for a younger fan, the full-size blade is still manageable; just supervise dueling play.

Want a different length later?

The blade swaps out in minutes — loosen the retention screws, slide the blade out, insert the new one. Replacement blades use the standard 1-inch diameter mount.
