What is motion control, and which sabers support it?

Quick answer

Motion control lets you ignite, extinguish, and trigger effects by physically moving the saber (push, pull, twist, swing) instead of pressing the button. It is available on XENO-based sabers only and is configured in the Xeno Configurator app under Saber Settings → Motion Control.

Three motion types

  • Pull-Push — pull the saber toward you, then push it away to ignite. Push-pull to extinguish.
  • Twist — twist the hilt clockwise, then counter-clockwise to ignite. Same motion to extinguish.
  • Swing — swing the saber in a quick motion to ignite. (Ignition only.)

How to access

Open the Xeno Configurator app, go to Saber Settings, tap the Motion Control tab. You will see toggles for each motion type and a sensitivity slider for each.
